(Washington, DC)— The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will temporarily close the center lane on Minnesota Avenue, NE from the DOES/WMATA Entrance Driveway to Grant Street, NE. One lane of traffic in each direction will be available at all times. This activity will run continuously from 7:00 am Tuesday, April 16, 2019 through 7:00 am Saturday, May 11, 2019, weather permitting.
This work is a part of the ongoing Minnesota Avenue Phase II Rehabilitation Project and is required for roadway reconstruction.
Motorists are urged to use caution as they travel in these areas, to anticipate moderate delays, and to be mindful construction personnel.

The reconstruction project limits are from Dix St, NE to Sherriff Rd, NE on Minnesota Av, NE. This work is a continuation of the work completed in Phase I which ran from East Capitol Street to Dix St, NE.
